2013 : Introduction of SIMALFA 3031, rollable and sprayable adhesive with very high instant tack, drying time and cureing.

2012 : The ALFA Klebstoffe AG turns 40. We continue to focus on environmentally friendly products and a cooperative relationship with our contact groups for the future.
Introduction of Simalfa 315-OF {Overspray Free}. The first dispersion-based "frost resistant" wet contact adhesive for foam bonding.
The adhesive is frost resistant up to -15 °C and shows no overspray.  Exceptional instant bond/tack on double and single sided applications.

2011 : The office building is finished and we moved in.
We proudly present the first dispersion-based frost resistant wet contact adhesive for foam bonding...SIMALFA® 315.
The adhesive is frost resistant up to at least -15°C and has not to be protected against low temperatures.
Even under this difficult circumstances SIMALFA® 315 guarantees an excellent instant tack on foam and creates NO overyspray if applied by spraygun.
Introduction of the On-Demand System SIMALFA®1K+ (1-Part Plus / application for a patent), rendering 2-Part adhesives OBSOLETE.
Development and introduction of SIMALFA® 303, water based adhesive for spray application.

2010 : Project Office extension get's reality and from September, the building is growing daily.

2009 : Start with the polish part of the ALFA Homepage and re-launch of the German and English pages. The first phase of our next expansion project is to create more space for our expanding office staff.

2008 : Final move and beginning of production in the new production facilities and warehouse. Completion of preregistration for REACH together with our only representive TÜVRheinland.

2007 : enlargement of our plant in Rafz ( occupancy in August 2007 ). Beginning of joint collaboration as distribution partners in Lithuania, Russia and Egypt.

2006 : planning more storage and production space. Beginning of joint collaboration as distribution partners in Estland and the Phillipines.

2005 : SIMALFA® 3083 was introduced at the Interzum; beginning of joint collaboration as distribution partners in South Africa and Austrailia.

2003 : first year in our new location.

2002 : the 30th anniversary of our company and the construction of our new production plant in Rafz – ready for occupancy in December 2002.

2001 : the company is taken over by Thomas Simmler and Maya Bänninger–Simmler.
Development and introduction of ALFAPLAN® for sheet lamination. Introduction of new application technology : a rolling application for laminating foam with SIMALFA® in Japan.

2000 : development of the fast bonding dispersion adhesives ALFAST® for bookbinding.

1999 : takeover of the industrial adhesive domain of the former Sarnatech–Tyro AG. Large amounts of dispersion blister varnish are sent to the cardboard  industry. Continual development of SIMALFA® 330.

1998 : Simalco – detachable adhesive for the paper industry is being produced.

1996 : further development in the upholstery industry – Simalfa® 309.

1995 : organisation of distribution network in Japan.

1994 : organisation of distribution network throughout Europe.

1993 : application for patent of Simalfa®, generation 2. Breakthrough in foam fabrication industry with Simalfa® 308.

1990 : application for patent of Simalfa® , generation1.

1989 : development of non-solvent dispersion adhesives for foam fabrication.

1984 : development  of fastbinding adhesives for packaging machines.

1976 : the expansion of our product  assortiment  - introducing hotmelts.

1972 : founding of ALFA  Klebstoffe AG, by Emil Simmler & Partner; the production and distribution of non-polluting dispersion adhesives for the packaging industry.
